Alco S-2 D&H 3021 - Raven Rail and friends bring this 1934 switcher back to life!

Actually built in 1943 for the US Army. Spent some time on the SIRT (Staten Island Rapid Transit, a B&O subsidiary) hauling freight on the commuter lines.

Now that’s a awsome sight an old alco reuturing to service
And the fact she’s putting out a heck of a lot of smoke is a good sign it’s running as intended
That sound is something I hear on older ge’s and I just can’t get enough of it better than the current whine of emds and roar of modern ge’s
