Gospel Hymns -- Great God of Wonders

"Great God of Wonders" was written by Samuel Davies (1723 - 1761) an early American evangelist who suffered through family tragedy and TB to preach the gospel to slaves. He was instrumental in raising the money to establish Princeton University (and served as its fourth president) before dying of pneumonia at age 37.

The version sung here is an amalgamation of lines from the many verses of the original composition.
