I got to spend 24 hours inside MLB Umpire School. Welcome to Major League Baseball's Umpire Prospect Development Camp, a month-long program where top umpire prospects from around the world come to train with the goal of one day becoming an MLB umpire. The instructors are current and former MLB umpires; the facilities are top-notch, and the dream of becoming an MLB umpire is in reach.

The Umpire Prospect Development Camp is a new program, and thanks to Major League Baseball, we were the first members of the media given access, and we can't wait for you to get an exclusive look inside the school that's training the next generation of MLB umpires.

I don't have any interest in being an umpire but I do like seeing the behind the scenes aspect of things, this was cool thanks for sharing.

Why can’t they just say strike and out like a normal person. It is so cringey 😭😂

They make so many bad calls on balls and strikes. Balls and strikes should be computerized.
