Rocky's plot armour in this movie would have been helped a lot if they had let him utilize blocking and dodging more like they did in his fight with Lang. Speed and defense are essential aspects of boxing that were really only acknowledged in the 3rd movie and nowhere else. There is no way any human would actually be able to tank that many punches from a foe like Drago for that long, so Rocky needing to lean into the defenses he learned in the last movie would have definately helped

I always felt like Rocky IV was a bit like a 80s music video. It doesnt necessarily make sense, but man does it look beautiful. The colors of the 80s really pop, and its just pure entertainment from beginning to end.

To be honest, I didn't understand how Drago lost at all. First we were shown how he KILLED Creed in a couple of blows, and then Rocky withstood hundreds of his blows to the head
