Top 50 Games of All Time 2020 Edition - From 30 to 21

Round 3 of my top 50 games of all time (as of 2020)! With CGE taking in some real winners with Under Falling Skies and Arnak, Mythic delivering Super Fantasy Brawl and of course some oldies and goodies like Tak, this is another batch of my favorite games.

I really appreciate you placing the info about which games you have picked with time codes, that way can go through and listen to the bits I am interested when I have time, some other channels dont list at all or just put time codes with no info. I dont even bother listening at all to them as I often only have small bits of time to spend listening.

Chaos in the Old World gets mentioned a lot for a reason. It remains a solid game and I enjoy playing it. I would not spend 100s of dollars trying to find it, and even more with the expansion. If you cannot find a copy, consider Blood Rage or Cthulhu Wars

Great video series! Super articulate and engaging. Minor gripe - hard to hear you recommend "picking up" the Horned Rat expansion to Chaos in the Old World when I cannot find it for under $200, while the base game is roughly $250. But like I said, small gripe. Keep up the great work!

This is the list for which I have the most in common so far across lists from many content creators... I have 2 of the games and I've ordered 2 of the games. I picked up Codenames Duet almost 2 years ago and Lost Ruins of Arnak arrived last month. I ordered Under Falling Skies and Sprawlopolis along with a pre-order item so they should arrive in a few months.

I doubted at first, but now admit, you were correct - Both Dune: Imperium and Lost Ruins of Arnak are good, yet different enough for both have a place in my collection.

Got rid of Codenames Duet but had some fun with it. It's a case of the game playing you more than you playing the game. A variant I recommend is using Dixit cards with the Codenames Duet grid. It opens the game up, lets it breathe with more creativity but is also very challenging (if not more so).

One night ultimate is a ton of fun to play with the right group. When you have the right people this game can be an amazing experience some of the most fun moments in board gaming for me. But i also played it with some other people that weren't in the mood to play it and the game just fell flat. If you aren't wanting for this specific experience and everyone just sits around awkward and not caring much for the game i can see why some would never play it again. Which is a shame because i think it gives you a experience most games can't.
