Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old:

Dating back to the 19th century, Johnnie Walker has been synonymous with quality and craftsmanship. The 12 Year Old expression, a true testament to the brand's legacy, offers a glimpse into the artistry behind blending. It combines whiskies aged for a minimum of 12 years, allowing them to develop depth and complexity over time.

As you enjoy the smooth, honeyed notes and subtle hints of smoke, you're tasting the result of generations of expertise passed down through the Walker family. From humble beginnings in a small grocery store in Kilmarnock to global recognition as one of the world's most iconic whisky brands, Johnnie Walker has remained unwavering in its commitment to excellence.

Whether shared amongst friends or savored in solitude, Johnnie Walker 12 Year Old is more than just a whisky – it's a celebration of heritage, innovation, and the enduring spirit of Scotland.

Johnnie Walker Double Black:

Originally released to the travel retail market, Double Black combines the rich, malty flavour of Black Label with slightly peatier whisky and casks that were more heavily charred. The result is a toasty, smoky whisky with Johnnie Walker's usual rich, malty core.

An interesting twist on Johnnie Walker Black Label, Double Black was rolled out for general release in 2011 after a successful launch in travel retail. Double Black adds to the normal Black Label profile by including more Islay whisky and casks that have been heavily charred, giving a more intense flavour with a greater emphasis on smoke while keeping true to the sophisticated Johnnie Walker style.

Recent years have seen a spate of new releases under the Walker name, including White Walker in association with TV show Game of Thrones, a series of ‘experimental’ Blender’s Batch launches, and an exploration of closed distilleries under the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare banner.

The biggest different is the extra smokiness in Double black that comes from extra charred casks used for it.

It's a highly mistaken video...Black Label is a Blended whisky that means, Of All the whiskies gone in, One of them is 12 years old, while others may be equal to or lower.. Not all whiskies are 12 years old in it

Point Of Correction, Scotch to be Called a Scotch Must Be at least 8 Years Old, So There Can't Be Less than 8 Years Old in the Double Black
