I was recently diagnosed after a many years of being told my symptoms were all separate dignoises. I'm still processing this whole thing and don't even know the correct way to pronounce the word.

Do you know of any adults that has had the bone marrow transplant and is doing at least okay afterwards or able to carry on a regular life? My brother was recently diagnosed and he is 42 years old. Our only chance is the bone marrow transplant, but we are so afraid of the risks.

my two sons have ALD one of my sons had bone marrow transplant in 2005 the old one has it in his blood its been hard on family my wife a carrier and her sisters Are two .
