Hazelmere bassin 🐟 has come alive...
Lionel revealing his secret techniques making catching easy.
We stopped by our local dam for a quick session.
Try these tactics and ul smash them. Upon arriving we noticed that the water levels dropped drastically from last week.
We fished from the side casting into the gaps inbetween the vegitation pausing and then twitching the flukes topwater with great success.
We started of the day on a note, I was first on the board with a decent bass on my sexy cast 🤣
There's always a first for everything and today's story left lots of swear words. Lionel was fighting a bass when a monster bass gulped his fish. We both paused for a second, looked at each other and then started screaming like crazy. I quickly took my shoes off to go in and as fast as the monster grabbed the bass he spat him out in the shallows before I could get to him😭.
We both was left somewhat disheartened, never have we seen a bass that size before.
Lionel went on to a bigger paddle tail, later on at another spot he got a whooper bass but no where close to the one he lost
Boy oh boy, we got smashed today on our ultra-light and light tackle 🙉.
