Have to comment with so many others saying this is an easy trail. This is Saints John out of Montezuma. Just did it in my 4Runner. It actually has some very steep parts and bigger rocks-don’t know why they did not show that but a low clearance awd vehicle will struggle. It is not super crazy but I would recommend using/having 4L.

Landcruiser PRADO everywhere else world.
They do go everywhere, have a look at last model Prado in Australia there is some great spots you can take them.
Wonder if they throw the check engine light in sand low range if you get in soft sand?

Really wish Toyota would have brought in the 70 series as a real Wrangler competitor. The new ones in Australia look awesome. I would have bought one in second.

The 4Runner Limited has full-time 4-wheel drive. 5:08

Toyota specced those tires because they are cheap, and for fuel economy. Not sure how you can say the dash looks good - it is just super cheap and plasticky looking. Look at the instrument binnacle -it’s horrible.
I would get this over the new 4Runner as it is made to much higher standards in Japan. The new 4Runner does not have frame mounted suspension bump stops - like the new Taco - and there already have been failures.

My FJ Cruiser is more of a true 'Land Cruiser' than this new pretender. I'd opt for a used Heritage edition at that price point.

Curious why they went into low range? From all the camera shots of the trail, I didn't see anything that I havent been able to take my 2017 Jeep Cheokee Limited with a V6 on. No low range on it, just AWD with some decent off road tires.

I’m looking forward to your GX vs Landcruiser off-road video where you put them both to the test

I bet Toyota doesn't put aggressive tires on them stock because they know buyers are going to put their own tires on them in the majority of cases.

So throw some 33inch BFG KO3s on it and decide if OEM skidplates and rock rails or aftermarket skidplates and rock rails si the best choice. Need to see how the rock rails attach.

It’s disappointing that Toyota puts 20” wheels on a lot of these and charges you an extra $1300 for them.

Styling wise they look better than the stock 18” but who wants 20”s on a vehicle like this?

Someone explain to me what the center locking differential does. They said it has a rear and center but no front locker.

It really needs better tire's and the a lift from factory. FOX or OME.

I was excited for the new Landcruiser. I even like that color but I’m not really impressed with the side profile. The front looks ok. 🤔🤔 maybe it will grow on me over time. It does have all the off road features. I agree with having better tires. Good review. 😊

I'm not really sure why Toyota won't build a really great offroader like the old FJ Cruiser again...
