Not just Kevin Conroy, but also some legendary voice actors of the DCAU who are no longer with us, such as Gilbert Gottfried (Mr. Mxyzptlk), Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn), and Richard Moll (Two-Face).

RIP Kevin Conroy.
I grew up with the DCAU and beyond, and the impact it has had on me is profound. I am eternally grateful for all it has provided or inspire and the legacy it left for us to follow.

One legacy of it I HIGHLY recommend is a comic set AFTER the finale called Justice League: Infinity. It's basically a look at different versions of the characters and following Amazo's journey from after his appearance in JLU. It's a great story :)

That was a beautiful send off Erod. Thank you for another wonderful vid man 😃

Seeing the influence of the DCAU laid out in chronological order, and illustrating the ripple effect it continues to have in entertainment is fascinating!

Actually, Batman Gotham Knight is supposed to take place between the events of Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.

I always say that Marvel got the rl Movies down, while DC got the animation ones.

Funnily enough, while I watched Justice League a bit as a kid, I didn’t really start looking into DCAU stuff until I was in college after watching the Lego Batman Movie of all things sparked an interest in it. Personally, after seeing their great dynamic in JLU, I’d love to see a film or tv show focused on Green Arrow and Black Canary (with cameos from Huntress and the Question maybe?). Also, the Lauren Faust DC Superhero Girls show is VERY underrated imo, but I’m glad it at least got a proper conclusion, even if that required briefly crossing over with Teen Titans Go for like 15 minutes.

I was at Kevin Conroy's last convention. Ran into him on the exhibitor's floor on the way to his booth...all I could think to say was..."Hey". I still wish I'd said something more clever

I'd give anything for batman beyond film

Excellent video. I love the animation of DC and it's incredible impact it has had. I've collected most of the straight to dvd movies of DC, I have a shelf full of it, which now I want to revisit. I cherish the animation so much as it made me appreciate the DC heroes.

13:30 so that explains the continuation for Batman the adventures continue and justice league infinity and the two DCAU direct to video follow ups

I found Justice League: Gods and Monsters to be an interesting take on the trinity of the league.

Also there’s an episode of young justice that connects to the Green Lantern the animated series. With a half red half blue Razer lantern. He actually talks about the computer girl friend gone bad, and how he plans to save her one day. I’m surprised you didn’t mention that

My favorite voice actor in the Legion of Doom, in JL Doom, is Farscape’s Aeryn Sun, Claudia Black as Cheetah.

13:35 Then why is this Kilowog also in the Young Justice Universe?

Yeah, I’m good with what we got for the DCAU. Love it. But after things setting with DC, if they did a JL: Beyond Batman set after Bruce’s passing, they’d have my interest. 🖖🏻

I haven’t watched the entire DCAU beyond the entirety of STAS and a handful of episodes of BTAS and Static Shock or played the Arkham games (yet) but I’ve done enough research without spoilers and they could’ve started its’ own universe with Superman game, a Wonder Woman game, a Green Lantern game, a Flash game, etc and they all lead to a Justice League game! It feels like every single time DC had an opportunity to expand the universe from more than one project, Warner Bros somehow ruins it. At least DC has their own independent studio now like Marvel.
