So glad I live in the good old Mid West. Our ground soaks these rain falls up like a sponge. Winds are never a real problem, unless they're tornados. Each area of the country has its differences but, all in all, I'll take mine.

California led the way, and showed the world how to deal with a tropical storm. No lives were lost thanks to all the citizens who followed instructions and stood off the roads. By staying off the roads, less power lines were damaged, and less accidents occurred. Very little debris incidents because Californians took it seriously and secured their lawns and trash. Drainage worked smoothly thanks to the city officials having the street gutters cleaned beforehand. City officials and citizens showed the world how to come together and ensure everyone makes it through. Lives were saved due to everyone’s participation, and especially due to the evacuations made in areas prone to severe flooding. Proud of you all ❤
