In this video. I am going to show you my new up to date DCC Model Train Controller which I have chosen the NCE Powercab and this will be used on my DCC videos as I do have plans to review the DCC Sound decoders as well as cover the functions and features of the NCE Powercab including how to set a Locomotive address and altering CV's which will be covered in other videos. This one just shows the controller and what it comes with. Please note that this video is a look at the NCE Powercab and it is NOT a review. I am sure there is other reviews out there on YouTube that do review this controller. This subject of DCC will be spanned along various additional videos to make them easily accessible for those new to DCC like myself. All positive and constructive feedback is welcome and I hope that you will enjoy this new series of videos.

Hi Ashley, very nice video and well explained.  When you box the small circuit board, where the connectors fit, make sure you have ventilation, even small boards generate heat which is not a good thing. I am looking for a better controller than my Elite, can I ask what the power ratings are for the controller, my Elite is 4AMP, which is good for a largish layouts for controlling multiple trains without to much of a voltage drop.  Can I also ask, does if have separate outlets on the controller for programming, like the Elite, one for the main track and another for the programming track?...Simon
