Have to say the mandatory stop with no need to change tyres or refuel feels almost like taking the Joker lap in Rallycross. The tactics seem to be identical and it really adds something different to the equation.

Getting a penalty because someone punts you off the track is ridiculous. The system in this game is garbage.

Speaking of penalties PD should adapt the Sophy AI tech and apply it to the penalty system where circumstances leading to an incident are analysed then an appropriate penalty applied. Just like Steve at Remus where he got rear ended going into the corner… the AI could easily determine with the real time race info of each vehicle that the fault lay with the too late braking car behind, not the car penalised. Now that’d be a game changer!

I love the Atenza (the 6 as it’s called in the US) I’ve driven a 3rd gen since late 2015. I’d love to drive one like this, tuned for racing!! There were rumors Mazda were going to put a turbo inline 6 rwd system in the 6 which would have been insane... unfortunately they instead stopped selling sedans in the US altogether 😭😭😭

Bit of an oddball question but what do you think about the change to GT1 slots; giving them only 3 per race?
Seems like quite a strong change to the detriment of most people in A to A+ just for the "benefit" of consolidating top split. Feel like there's a fair few ways they could've funnelled top split players into specific slots without limiting the options for everybody.

Best informative commentary as always ❤. RBR is my fav short track, when to pit was strategically important. I raced the non-meta successfully here. Dunno why 😂 I consistently got the 155 & lancer into the low 37s but for the life of me couldn’t get the atenza outta the 39s 😮

Is the Atenza the most dominant right now because of 4WD and the grip with the new physics? I find most others aside from the NSX and Silvia that if you get on the power even a little early the tail end starts to slip. It's so boring when everyone uses the same car.
