The meaning of the song Runaway basically tells about the true story of the vocalist, Chester Bennington. When Chester was a child, he was sexually abused by an older friend. He felt the desire to escape (Runaway), from his naughty friends.

From this event, Chester was mentally affected. He is afraid of being blamed by people, he is afraid of being blamed by society, he is also sorry for hanging out with the wrong people.

Je trouve que la voix de Chester est assez bizzare pour l'époque. Elle se rapproche déja de la voix qu'il a maintenant, une voix plus clair, moins aggressive, plus posé. Pourtant, en 2004, il était encore dans la période ou il avait cette voix si puissante. Dans cette vidéo, il chante déja comme maintenant ( 2008-2011). Il n'y a cas regarder le rock am ring 2004, sa voix est bien différente que celle qu'il a ici ! En revanche, ces cris étaient encore terrible ! OLD LP MISS U

@drafeirha Actually, he shouldn't be screaming anymore. He had throat surgery because the type of scream he was using was incorrect and harmful to his throat. Matt Tuck from BFMV had the same problem.
