I always get a chuckle over the face of Stephan Fry's interviewer. Without a word you can see he is thinking "Well this is going to create a shite storm." And it did.

I've often heard the "Man brought evil into the world" line from theists. I typically responded with "That could only happen if man were more powerful than god." This makes about half just give up and the others to fall all over themselves trying find a way out of this conundrum.

Honestly I'm like two minutes in and I feel like I finally understand my super Christian dads whole parenting strategy. When she said that it's simple to avoid eye worms from God just invent and use the right clothes and medicine I understood.

Now my dad makes so much sense. He thinks intentionally making my life harder was ok because it caused me to invent defenses against him. Crazy parenting plan given that he thought we'd still be hanging out after I could survive without him given his constant intentional sabatoge. Interesting, I wonder it's a similar reason the churches are so empty these days.
