As we already knew: there is a specific reason Trump selected Judge Cannon. He knew she would be his own personal gatekeeper and help him delay as much as humanly possible. If she had the authority to do so, she would have dismissed this case and shut it all down. Thank goodness, she can't do that.

While I am, like many, fed up witth Trump's constant verbal flatulence, and would love to see him forced to back up his methanous blatherings, I think Dearie needed to better establsh the connection between the ''planting'' claim and the privilege question. That may well be needed for Dearie to carry out his mandate, but I don't think he adequately made the case.

We need to remember who we are talking about. Aileen Mercedes Cannon is a Colombian-born American lawyer and jurist who serves as a U.S. district judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a Colombian born citizen who became a US citizen. As a citizen of a third world country what she is doing with Trump is a normal way of life in her native country. She sees nothing wrong with what she is doing.

The Judiciary Committee would have to recommend her impeachment. There are 22 members on that committee eleven of which are Republican. It is very doubtful any motion to investigate her would pass. The best action the public and take is to send emails to the committee members letting them know how ridiculous her actions are and suggesting she be impeached.
