What to do at Level 80 in SWTOR

I’m a new player who’s got a character to 80 and I’ve caught up with all the story… but what else is there to do? What do I do now? In this guide we’ll be going over the basics about what you can do in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

If you’ve just gotten into the game, there are four main things you can do after you’ve finished the main story line and have reached level 80: Story, PVE, PvP, and Collecting.

I love this game so much! I've been playing off and on since launch. I just recently managed to get legendary status on my main server, as well as my first lvl 80 character. I still haven't done much of the expasion content beyond the little bit of RotHC on Makeb. There is just so much to do that its almost overwhelming for me, so thank you for this video its exactly what I need to give myself some direction and large goals to accomplish. I am solidly in the camp of players who just want to experience all the content SWtOR has to offer.😊 😊

I went down the unmentioned rabbit hole of achievement hunting. Some really fun ones... And then there's the 'kill 5k enemies, ' which in some areas is just utterly ridiculous. Luckily for those I do kind of passively bump them up when leveling characters, and then just use my sniper to mop up the rest while listening to a show or something.

7:40 Also about uprisings, one thing I meant to bring up, on the Fractured uprising solo, MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR COMPANION out of the force storm, hence on why he dies, then you die cause you aren't getting heals.

I'm definitely a big fan of secrets and treasure hunts. Aside from Datacrons, the Ossus weapon tuning hunt was one of my favourite "side" things to do in recent times (with a cool cosmetic reward as payoff for doing it). I wish there were more things like that, just breadcrumbed a little better maybe, so players can find the start of the journey without needing to look up "SWTOR secrets" to know they even exist. Thanks for the guides btw! The quality of these videos and web pages just keep getting better👏

Founder, and I can’t argue enough, story is literally all that is worth it. Everything else has no real rewards especially with progression. The game is at a state where it needs a complete overhaul in one way or another other, I appreciate content creators trying to claw people to stay, but reality is, the mmo has nothing left, and definitely nothing real for a new person to aspire towards apart from the single player stories.

This is an MMO, so let’s be real.

Ive put 200 hours into the game. Have 10 characters and have not even touched operations and story exansions. Working on collecting companions rn. The amount of content is insane
