An Unboxing Video More New Orchids

Adding to the few orchids of this type I recently bought, these are not the easiest to grow and the species are even more difficult than the hybrids.

Enjoyed your video today. I have a Miltoniopsis roezlii var xanthina that I got from a nursery in Connecticut USA back in June, in full bloom at the time. The fragrance is so glorious as well as strong, it wafts around my whole house, no exaggeration. And now, in November it is in bloom again. I'm stunned. I had lost my first one and had given up on them, but what I did with this new one is pot it up in a mix of lava rock and fir bark. It loves it. I also use LED growlights and my temps right now are around 60 F for the low and around high 60's as a high. I try to use rainwater only, some magnesium and Liquidirt fertilizer.

Yup if they were shipped from ecuagenera they were shipped bare root. It greatly simplifies their international export certification process. Our orchid society brought in Ivan Portillia from ecuagenera for our annual speakers day last summer. He brought in an amazing selection of plants

Nice plants. Will be at a show on Thursday setting up my orchid club’s display . Equegenera will be one of the vendors, selling bare root. Will have to see what they have. Thanks for sharing.

Edit: i got a couple as well. Got it delivered today but i got the miltoniopsis roezlii xanthina ( which has beautiful yellow flowers) and miltoniopsis limelight imogen smith ( again creamy background with pink flowers). If you are looking to replace roezlii then i think its still in stock. Hurry!
