I have used hot spot daily 24/7 with no issues on Samsung and iphones i have used so far, with no issues. No noticeable drop in battery health.

I've been using my phone internet as only one for about 5 years now. I wouldn't really go back to anything else. Only problem is that there's no good information which phones are most efficient for sharing internet and no tests which last longest. Maybe there could be even specialized tech for tethering so that the phone would just skip battery completely when plugged in and tethering on.

Im using mobile hotspot for 8to10hours daily, yes there will be battery drain and heat will be generated

After using my smartphone as hot spot every day for 5 to 8 hours a day for about 6 months .. the battery health dropped about 12 % , so sad 😥

Man I have like 5-6 old phones in my drawer, I just use one of them for hotspot and leave them on 24/7.., I'm not using my new phone for hotspot duuuuh😂
