Check out my latest video from the "Alternative History" playlist on: "What if the Scramble for Africa Never Happened?" in which we look at the different competing colonial powers as well as the effect of Colonization on Africa itself.

We start off with the premise that King Leopold II is either unwilling or unable to acquire the Congo Free State for himself, and as such Bismarck never calls for the Berlin Conference in 1884-85, and as such the Scramble for Africa never takes place in an orderly and peaceful way.

After watching Some of your "Brexit" Video
I'm sorry to inform you that Map I Made on Reddit was based
and anti-Anglish.
I Purposefully gave the British Less land (but not so less that they would start a war over it)

European holdings on the coasts of Africa were little more than land grants because they could be and often were defeated by African powers like the Ashanti. The main reason why Africa wasn't colonized before the late 19th to early 20th century, which i can't for the love of me figure out why most don't see, is that Europeans largely lost against African states. From the Kongo in the south, to the Ajuraan in the east, to the Ashanti in the west, European armies and native African auxiliaries lost most of the times they tried to fight African powers.

A simple misunderstanding such as this shows why this entire video should be taken with a table spoonfull of salt. You've chosen to base your research on quite obviously comprised and biased Eurocentrist explanations from the 20th century rather than more reliable and trustworthy sources from Africanist historians written post independence.
