Her Majesty - The Beatles

Ladies and gents, the shortest song in the entire Rock Band series, and a song that is possible to OMBFBFC while playing every instrument at the same time!

Not a lot to say here, it's a cute little song. Gotta get good whammy and as good a squeeze as you can to get a good score here. I was messing around with negative lag to try to find the optimal settings to maximize score, but I quickly tired of it and just kept the gameplay with my normal settings.

Abbey Road Medley tomorrow!

Most technical, complex Beatles song of all time that seems to go on for hours. Was surely written by more than one person. Gives Beethoven and Mozart a run for their money

Fun fact is that this is the lowest streamed Beatles song ever. But it’s mostly because the song is so short that places like Spotify won’t count it as a play unless you listen to it twice!

Abbey Road hidden track.
Written by Paul McCartney, it is considered one of the earliest examples of a "hidden theme" in rock music as it was not listed on early pressings of the Abbey Road LP.
The song was originally placed between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam", McCartney decided the sequence would not work and the song was edited out of tape operator John Kurlander's Abbey Road Studios medley. He was instructed by McCartney to destroy the tape, but EMI policy said that the Beatles' songs would not be removed. The fourteen seconds of silence between "The End" and "Her Majesty" are the result of Kurlander's tape leading off the addition to the song separately from the rest of the recording.

The lyrics are obviously dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II, I think McCartney remembered the queen the day they met her at the time of "HELP, 1965!" and when they were given their medals of honor.

Curious fact:
- Another shortest songs with "Her Majesty" is " Wild Honey Pie & Maggie Mae"
- The day Queen Elizabeth II passed away (8/September/2022), Beatles fans dedicated this short song to her in honor of her.
- The Queen named "Paul McCartney as "Sir" in 1997 and Ringo in 2018. Now they are called: "Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Ringo Starr or Sir Richard Starkey".
- The only time Paul performed this song was in 2002.

The Controversy of the Not-So-Missing Last Note.

Guitar has 107x the amount of notes than on bass. Kinda crazy

The Abbey Road is completed
But there almost one more track in the DLC and is: "Abbey Road Medley"

Yeah. Also, some people back when this was released as dlc complained about it getting a last note at the end for some reason. So superficial.

Yeah, too late to make her yours.

R.I.P. Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022.

Yeah, it's all about that whammy at the start. On the ScoreSpy leaderboard for this song I'm like 8 points off 1st!

This song seems to be kinda tricky here!!!

Apparently the inclusion of that last note made a lot of fans unhappy? I really don't see why, this is still the original song, if anything made more complete by that hidden final note!

Not only the shortest song in Rock Band history, but also probably (from what I’ve seen and heard) the most pointless parts for drums and bass to ever exist in rhythm games.

And so tomorrow comes the big one. Literally and figuratively.

Why was there the piano intro from The Word before the song started?

If this is goldable, then I feel fine on bass should.
