India has reached her critical mass to redefine her status and role in the World. Pakistan is just an irritation that India has to deal with, but in an innovative and prospectful way. While there are many suitors, India has chosen to do the same with them.

*Re: "Stop worrying about Pakistan" -- We said same thing after 1971 - and then Pakistan came back with nuclear weapons, and started militancy in Punjab and Kashmir. Only a fool turns their back on a venomous snake. If Pakistan is in such bad shape, then assist their collapse - don't keep them around and turn your back on them. Past precedent shows that even a collapsing Pakistan can become playground for mischief by others (Carter/Reagan admins, Beijing). Stop imitating Prithvi Raj Chauhan's foolish behaviour towards Mohammad Ghauri.*

China is similar to India in many ways, except size and political system (economic growth is recent thing) but they never compare themselves with India. Pakistan hardly compares itself with Bangladesh although Bangladesh was once part of Pak.
But it's only India which compares it with Pakistan.

It's really surprising why we compare ourselves with them .. let them be der .. indians and our media too should stop giving them attention.. let's focus on top three ..

India should match its competitor - China. Give this as a case study to those students in IITs doing history and political science.

Even though our economy is 10 times of Pakistan but still we are not able to take back POK not only that IAF is having lack of 12 squadron of fighter jets. I mean seriously this just patting our own back nobody talks about that.

Its not that America is blind to it. They loved using Pakistan along with the British has a hedge to India's rise. Wake up...

There is a saying, fire and an enemy should be neglected. Pakistan's misfortunes of today, should not be a reason to give it a chance to survive and attack India in future.

IMHO we are focusing too much on 3.5trillion and 5th largest status. Our focus should be 1st or atleast 2nd.

Entire OIC has supported Pakistan on kashmir issue in the UN which is what matters.
Pakistan was created to counter India
Pakistan is still supporting cross border terrorism. We are not obsessed with Pakistan.
So to tell shrug off our Pakistan obsession is absolute nonsense.

Let’s just say P is to keep the masses titillated. Indians should really start imagining themselves as at least as developed as a well-performing South-East Asian economy. Time for India to really her economy start doing the talking in terms of adding value.

It's time to stop comparing ourselves with Pakistan and start seeing ourselves with China. It's said that some people( country ) are not capable of being your enemy so start finding a worthy one .
