Suspect in custody after standoff in Bozeman

The Bozeman Police Department reports the suspect Seth Ryan Gomez was taken into custody for disturbance with a weapon after a standoff in the area of 9th and Lamme Street.

Police received reports Tuesday night about Gomez causing a disturbance at his home.

When officers arrived on scene, Gomez barricaded himself inside with a rifle.

Officials say it’s unclear why he barricaded, and no shots were fired and no one was harmed during the incident.
