How to Build a WhatsApp Chatbot for Free (in Minutes)

In this video, I explain how to build a WhatsApp Bot for free, in minutes.
And we will create this AI chatbot by using Botpress.

Who do we use Botpress?
I use Botpress because of three reasons:
1. It has many built-in AI tools, like an AI Knowledge Base and automatic translation. You can also determine the AI Model you want to use. So you can choose between ChatGPT, Claude and more
2. They have a very good Free plan. So you can get started for free & pay as you go.
3. And Botpress has a one-click WhatsApp integration. This allows you to connect your Botpress chatbot to WhatsApp in less than one minute.

How to Create a Knowledge Base in Botpress
In Botpress, you can create a Knowledge Base to train a chatbot on your data.
Once the bot has been trained on your data, it can automatically answer questions about it.
To create your knowledge base, go to Flows ➝ Default Knowledge Base.
Here, you can simply upload a document or add a URL to create your knowledge base.

Automatically answer questions with a chatbot flow
Once your chatbot has been trained, you can create a chatbot flow to automatically answer questions from customers.
In this video, we create a chatbot flow that answers the question from the customer.
When we answer with the chatbot, we ask if it answers their question, so we always ensure a good customer experience.

Add Botpress Chatbot to WhatsApp
The last part of this Botpress tutorial, is to add the Botpress chatbot to WhatsApp.
You can do that with one click using the Botpress WhatsApp Integration.
In Botpress, you can do this by going to Integrations, search for "WhatsApp" and click on "Install".
Once the WhatsApp integration is installed, you can enable it and click on "Authorize WhatsApp".
Here, you can connect it to your Meta Business.

I just have one problem with botpress, whenever I try to generate a condition for an expression it does not get generated. I am stuck with conditions always being "true", I can only change it if I input the condition myself (which I don´t know how to do). Any help with this problem?
