Welcome back to our beginner violin series! In Lesson 15, we're taking a significant step forward by combining the left hand and the right hand. If you've been practicing pizzicato with the left hand and refining your bow technique with open strings, this lesson is your next challenge.

🤔 Coordination between the left and right hands is crucial. While the bow can move quickly, the left hand may take a bit more time to place fingers accurately. We'll start by stopping the bow between each down bow and up bow, giving the left hand some extra time to keep up.

🎶 Let's revisit the tetrachord exercise, focusing on the A string this time. We'll play two bows for each note—down bow, stop, place the finger, stop, up bow. This deliberate approach helps synchronize your hands and refine your coordination.

🎻 Watch out for common issues like hitting other strings. Remember, your elbow height controls the string you're playing on, so make adjustments if needed. Also, keep an eye on bow wobbling, ensuring a clean, steady sound. As you get more comfortable, gradually reduce the pauses between stopping the bow and placing the finger. This will eventually lead to a smooth, continuous motion without interruptions.
