And this guy (Bowman) was a school principal before getting into Congress. Of all types of people in the world who SHOULD know what a fire alarm is, it should be a school principal.

This guy knew damn well what he did.

I work in the industry of Fire Life and Safety. It is a federal offense to pull a fire alarm MPS (Manual pull Station) when there is no fire or emergency. The law should show no "respecter" of persons. He needs to be prosecuted just like anyone else!

Even my four years old granddaughter knows the difference between a door handle and a fire alarm

Bowman was a school principal and knows what a fire alarm looks like. He’ll get no punishment because of the two tier justice system.

So refreshing a President that can talk.

Make an example of Bowman ! Show the American people there is still some justice left.

Bowman committed a Federal Crime in the Capital. He needs to be expelled from Congress!

Bowman was a deputy, sworn in. Not a hysterical protester. He committed a felony.

Funny camera works perfect of this bowman pulling the fire alarm. But the cameras never work on who left cocaine in the White House. Secret Service inability to never identify the person is just amazing.

This guy was a school principal." To say he didn't know exactly what he was doing is just pure ignorance. This isn't high school and he should be held accountable, endangering the lives of all the house members with a childish stunt should cost him his freedom, what if there were a real fire? This certainly isn't becoming for a representative of the people's house. I think it time we all write our congressmen and demand his resignation...

My son pulled the fire alarm in his high-school. The police arrested him and he spent the night in juvenile detention. At first it was a felony but the judge dropped it to a misdemeanor and he was sentenced to 60hrs of community service and was told the charges would be exponged upon his 18th birthday..

The thing that is really disturbing is he did this right before the vote. He knew exactly what he was doing. Absolutely nothing will happen to him.

When I was in kindergarten, all of us kids new what a fire alarm box looked like and we knew pulling it in a non-emergency situation was a bad thing to do.

Bowman essentially cried "FIRE!" in a crowded theater when there was no fire. Prosecute him.

At 7 years old I knew what a fire alarm was for.

He was a principal, I bet he suspended kids over pulling the fire alarm. Typical entitlement

If a student at a school pulled the fire alarm, they would have been expelled. Why isn't Bowman?
