Like I said in the video, for the past almost 3 years we have been playing board games almost every single weekend and I wanted to start talking about them here on the channel! Great video, just subscribed - as you say, loads of 'How to Play' videos online already, I would love to see game reviews as I find personal opinions really useful when trying to work out the best games for me and my wife to buy - looking forward to seeing more content!

I've been into modern games for about 3 years. Before that I only played backgammon. I just didn't manage to get my family to play that with me so I got us some family games, such as Ticket To Ride, which I still love. Since then I've fallen in love with the hobby. Big part of it is actually solo gaming. My current favorites include games like This War Of Mine, Nemesis, Barrage and Eclipse. I like games with cool themes and a good mix of strategy and randomness. And I still play backgammon every day and finally got my daughter hooked on it.

Hey Jenna! Do you have a BGG account? It's really cool on your account you can set up a list of games you own, want to own, and have played but don't own. You can also rank each one and add comments about each game! These lists can be shared and if you have other BGG friends then you can view their lists as well and find new games through your friends! I think it's enjoyable and could be a good way for you to link to your list of games and what you like about each one for people on here just getting into it.

we got into the hobby around the same time as you, it was so so exciting discovering how deep this game world is!
I would love to hear about the games you got rid of, sometimes that’s super helpful and interesting too (and did you sell them, gift them, donate them?), I’ve donated a lot of lighter games to our library.
also, did you see they just did a Kickstarter for Nightmare (called Atmosfear though), it would have been so cool to see an art / component update but it’s just a reprint really.

Also sorry to come in with a double comment I just get so excited about you posting board game content 🙈 Anyway you mentioned you're interested in adding nightmare/atmosphere back to your collection. There was a kickstarter campaign just last month for the game's 30th anniversary. It's closed now but if you're interested you can still check it out and sign up as a late pledge!
