Euro 2024 enters the round of 16 phase this weekend and in this video we take a closer look at Germany and Denmark to see who will make it into the quarter finals.

I think its a shame that the danish fans only get to buy 6.000 of the 67.000 seats tomorrow. Would be nice and a bit more fair to let in more. We could easily show up with four times as many supporters, were we allowed to. Way to make the game more inequal than it has to be.

However, if we can frustrate the germans with our good defence it might come in handy that there is 60.000 german fans putting the pressure on their own team. Or maybe I'm just trying to find some positives, haha. Honestly though, with the pretty soft performance from the Denmark team in match 1 and 3, I feel it's better for us to come up against a big football nation at the moment. Denmark is a bit like the Switzerland team - good organisation, fine players, not a lot of pace. And Switzerland at the moment looks decent, so it would suck for us to have to try and dictate a game against Switzerland right now. On the other hand, Denmark is always best in the underdog role, and we got exactly that. Still, I think we should have tried harder to beat Serbia in order to get on the right side of the draw. Spain is our absolute bogey team, and they're probably next up if we make the upset against the hosts.

Or maybe we should just try and surprise them, and come out all guns blazing. I think that would be the plan if our team had any sort of self confidence on the opponents half of the pitch.
Right now we are playing defensive kick and rush, and it kinda sucks. But I bet I'm alright with it if we go all the way in Germany xD

Many teams who've won the EC in the past, had a slow start in their first round of the tournament....also the same can be said about WC! So Denmark have an opportunity to surprise everyone by stealing the game from the Germans.

Im the absence of Morten Hjulmand, Thomas Delaney is probably a more obvioius starting choice than Christian Nørgaard on the Danish midfield. He has better speed and better offensive qualities, something that the current Danish team probably needs if it is to get the first goal of the match (which I think they need if they are to stand a chance).

We will not make the same error against Denmark that we made against the Swiss.. The only way Denmark can win this match, is unless the ref and var conspire against us like they did in our game vs Switzerland, and even then, Switzerland still couldn't beat us.. But if it should be allowed to be a fair game, we will definitely win.. I love Hojlund and Eriksen, because they play for my club, two of my favourite players at United, but unfortunately, they are coming up against my international team, and international football is more important to me than club football.. And Tah is suspended, but i won't blame our manager for it, we just have to continue moving forward..
