About your saturation problem, you should try this:
- enable shaders
- check "filmic tone mapping"

Hi Richard. I follow you since 2020, good job :) . I downloaded your world, I have some questions : you have a lot of mods. How do you do to avoid the limit of 32768 registered nodes (I reached it on my server) ? What is the purpose to put mods in a worldmods directory ? Thanks ;)

3d ago u need celevator is released in 5.9.0 - 5.9.0 adds lag
also i play minetest when “celevator” was not yet released (i guess 5.8.0) to the day that made more lag when you stay in that chunk.
