It’s still one of the greatest intros I’ve ever watched and played

This intro really is what makes the game for me.
Just the sheer dissonance from what is actually going on before it really sets in is astonishing.
Then you have BFV trying to be intense and shit off the bat really took me out of things tbh.

Battlefield 1 was the most realistic, accurate, amazing game I’ve ever played. The campaign, multiplayer, and all of the cinematics are so good.

Obviously this whole video is, but something about 0:59 is just extra brutal. It may be modern war, they’ve got tanks and planes and machine guns, but this guy’s reduced to just pounding the dude in the face with his bare fucking hand.
