If you are in a season of relative happiness, NOW is the time to be solidly in the Word, replacing lies with truth, putting on the armor of God, developing the "muscle" of discipline around prayer, etc.
Usually, the reason its hard to "hold our thoughts captive" is because we wait until a tragedy, major life stressor, or season of busyness comes along to want Jesus in control. People are often their most negative & mean in the tough times.
Don't wait to strengthen your mind until you feel so desperate.🇨🇦♥️

Your words remind me of something that I read a few months back by Martyn Lloyd-Jones in his book ‘ Spiritual Depression’ that I tell myself whenever my thoughts start to run wild . “ talk to yourself, don’t let yourself talk to you “ . Speak Gods truths to yourself. Over and over and over.
