It’s funny, I’ve always found edamame to be tastier than grown soybeans.
A tad sweeter. Didn’t know there was a darker variety. Thank you for the bit of knowledge 🙏
Are grown dark edamame the ones used for dark soy sauce?
They are so expensive in western countries though 😞

What kind of salt did you add after they were cooked? I've never been able to duplicate the izakaya edamame, mine are not salty enough or probably the wrong salt... yours look so delicious! Yum!
