RE: Marble sceptre of J'Ira (artifact from the haunted house this time) - despite the fact that it looks like a regalia, it's actually a trinket. It might be at the bottom of the list of trinkets - not sure since you didn't scroll. I've encountered several instances, though, where the events do not provide the artifacts that are mentioned. As far as *court* artifacts go, you can definitely possess them as a wanderer; you just don't have a court to display them in so they are inactive (similar to the situation with a count or duke tier feudal ruler.)

RE: Stress - last episode, and at the start and end of this one, you were working to *increase* stress to activate the Thriving in Chaos intrigue perk, whereas in the middle you were trying to *reduce* stress. I find that it's hard (or at least micromanage-y) to make that perk work unless you have an easy stress relief valve in case things go too far (e.g. generous trait --> give someone a gift and lose stress) so I mostly just let it take effect as a "nice" bonus when I get stressed and maybe don't try to reduce stress as immediately - but otherwise ignore it.

It’s much easier for adventurers to get gold over rulers. So University visits are neat especially if you’re having issues like your last character did with completing contracts and skill checks. The loop with Adventurers feels much more of you investing in your current character as opposed to your camp as things can just fall apart if you die and don’t have a realm of vassals. Although with a bad enough group of followers you can’t really do anything even if you’re a god character. So it depends yeah. Nice investment early on when you don’t have a bunch of upgrades in mind imo.

Owing to your traits you could try to be a Robin Hood like character. Look for realms and counties ruled by impious or greedy characters and exploit them viciously for the people’s(read: mostly you) gain and well being
