The Wild Robot book had the animals talk. It was never meant to be a silent story. It’s a core part of the book.

The Wild Robot NEVER promised to be a silent film, nor was it meant to be. The animals talking and Roz learning to understand their language is a core part of the book it's based on. Complaining about it in the film is unwarranted. That said, yeah this film looks incredible.

Look bro Flow does look good but you need to understand is not only that the wild robot would have never been a silent film but also just because a movie has talking animals doesn’t mean it’s bad, so don’t put it as a flaw just be glad that that you still got what you wanted in the form of another movie.

As a Latvian it is nice to see people talking about this movie. I saw it in cinema and it was visually stunning and although I agree making 90 minute movie without dialogue isn't easy I think this movie pulled it off well.
