Hope Temple - A night in Seville, tango for piano (c1921)

Here's a real rarity, an Irish-born female composer whose music is virtually unknown. Hope Temple's real name was Alice Maud Davies, but she chose the pseudonym for publishing her compositions. After suffering a riding accident, she relinquished hope of becoming a pianist but she still left behind a couple of delicious piano pieces in a popular vein. This one transports us to a balmy Night in Seville with more than a touch of Carmen's Habanera.
