Well to be honest, some of the new "Reworked textures" gives me more cartoon city vibes than the old ones who looks kinda better but hey, at least Rockstar is fixing the trilogy

These changes are incremental and tiny. There is still massive issues that I now believe the devs are just incapable of fixing. They seem to be patching the easiest ones.

The stock clothing of CJ just got far worse in my opnion, but the rest is fine. Keep fixing the game pls Rockstar, I'm starting to like it! One of my (yet very few) favorite things about the new release are the 3D-like interiors in almost all buildings. Since they're not enterable it's no big deal, but nice little detail.

The fact they need so many patches to fix all the issues from textures to the awful weather effects shows how this game was rushed out and it was clear Rockstar needed to give it more time to iron out all the issues.

I’d really like to see melee combat fixed (especially in San Andreas)
I noticed it the first time I played the DE version, just touched it again last night for the first time in a while.
The fact there’s no aiming reticle for targeting people with your fists is stupid,
The removal of your alternate attack (triangle/Y) really dumbs down the combat. Back in the day, you could string together normal punches with the combos you learned from other gyms, and even add in melee weapons. (My favorite being the kneeing animation from the fighting style you learn in Venturas and switching to the knife to give a final, fatal gut stab at the end of the combo)
I feel like non-DE San Andreas and GTA IV /are probably the last games that have good melee in the series
