Good day Dr, I’m Dewi Martini (D100359) from SMS3123(C). At first, I’m still a little bit confused about 3 scenarios especially for the first case where M=M0, but after I watch this video, I can understand it better. And from this video, I think I prefer one sample sign test instead of traditional approach because traditional approaches is a little bit confusing. For example if I use the traditional approach and I add three value, then the kcv is 2 right? We take the last number of x in the distribution table right? But why don’t we take the x value by adding 0, 1 and 2 when we add three value?

Melalui contoh soalan tersebut, saya masih confuse dengan step 4 yang menggunakan traditional approach. saya ingin bertanya, kenapa Kcv ( nilai K untuk critical value) adalah 1 sedangkan nilai Kcv yang diambil daripada table tersebut adalah 0 &1?

It was pretty easy to understand the main approach of testing the null hypothesis. However, it was slightly confusing to understand the traditional approach. Assalamualaikum dr, I'm Alia Nur Dini binti Ayob (D20211100358) from SMS3123 group B. From this video, I've learnt that the One-Sample Sign Test is quite easy to understand. But for the 4th step, I think i prefer to use either decision rule for one-sample test or p-value approach instead of traditional approach. It is because both the decision rule for the one-sample sign test and p-value approach were easier than the traditional approach. Overall, I understand the whole content of this video. Thank you dr. for the explanation.

Assalamualikum Dr, I'm Mohammad Khairil Zaid Bin Safiee ( D20211100347) from SMS3123 group C. From the video, i have learned how to determine probability by using one-sample test. There are 2 method that i can use to determine the probability which by using table or calculation. I think both p-value approach and traditional approach is quite easy to understand. For the conclusion, there are 5 steps to use One sample sign test. Thank you.

But this part is quite confusing to me especially in step 3 for finding probability as well as step 4 for a traditional approach that I couldn't understand well. Other than that, this video also give me back my memories about alternative approach to make decision which is p-value approach and traditional approach. Overall, i understand this video very well. Regarding the example given, it quite easy to understand and for the step 4 I prefer to use either decision rule for one-sample sign test or p-value approach than the traditional approach because for me traditional approach is quite confusing but I hope Dr can explain further in class later. For the step 4, I prefer to use the decision rule for one sample sign test and p-value approach. It is more easier than the traditional method.

Thank you Dr for this great explaination about one-sample sign test and i have grown my knowledge a lot more by watching this video, however the fourth step in this test by using the alternative solution is a little bit confusing and a bit hard to understand, i hope that Dr can explain more in f2f class . :)
