Different ways to connect The Squat Harness V3 to a trap bar

Using The Squat Harness V3 with a trap bar is a great way to optimize the range of motion and other factors. It is also a great option for those who have back injuries and want less sheering force on their spine. Even for those who have no issues doing trap bar squats and deadlifts, look at this as an advanced hook grip system. Instead of just assisting with grip, it is also assisting with posture, allowing the user to focus solely on their lower body’s. Now there are 2 ways to connect the harness to a trap bar (or regular barbell). One way is with the Loading Straps, and another way is with these new barbell hook straps. And the Collar Hooks are the perfect way to add a resistance band to the bar. Variety is the spice of life!

Just bought the harness. Its setup is very awkward and cumbersome. Setting up like this in this video is fine if you're doing light weight, which you are here. But squatting way down to awkwardly to hook the straps to the bar when you're going to be squatting heavier weight is virtually impossible and actually dangerous. Standing up from the hyper crouched position to start out is not doable with heavier weight. There needs to be some racking method in place for setting up and finishing in the rack. The concept is good but not well enough thought through. Could use some improvement. The side straps also don't lay flush against the torso and the edges dig in to your ribs. If I can't figure out a better way to accommodate this awkward harness, I'll be returning it.
