The game was PERFECT after toty patch. After that, EA did everyone play so defensive with the 4213.
Now we are back to no space to attack.

I used to play 4321 on fifa 23 and didn't buy fc 24 at all. This year I'm playing 433(2) and it's been amazing. You have to try it

I actually don't know what has happened to this game.

This is not one of those placebo things where a player is bad and they keep finding excuses for their losses. 2 weeks ago I was in div 2 pushing towards Div 1. I was getting there slowly, maybe like a 60% win rate, very competitive in the division. Now I'm stuck in Div 3, probably dropped to a 20% win rate and there's a clear difference between what my AI is doing as opposed to the other player's.

When I attack and get near the box, my attackers are stiff and slow, with my opponent's AI swarming them 2 or 3 at a time when he's controlling someone else. When they have attack on me, they just run laterally in midfield, wait for the AI run, then it's a simple through ball that I can't defend manually. My defensive AI will just stand beside attackers, or let them drift past without any effort to play.

There is a clear night and day difference. I've been playing long enough to notice this difference. I've tried aggressive BPD at centre back, I've tried high line to squeeze the pitch, I've tried 5-2-1-2 to get an extra body in there, nothing has made a difference. A lot of games also end with me having similar or more xG, but losing 4-6, 3-6, 2-4 etc. It has ruined the game for me. I was actually enjoying the game a few weeks ago because I felt it rewarded problem solving and anticipation in defence and attack.

Is there a key element I missed? Why are all of my games now just me watching me AI static in defence, while my opponents absolutely dominate me as soon as I'm within 5 metres?

I'm telling you, I'm a fairly good player. I wouldn't be pushing for Div 1 if I wasn't. Now I am losing to people who are clearly not as good as me, but nothing works. Did I miss some preset cheat code?

This kind of mistakes happens a lot bc of the guy who edits the video, also with playstyles. I suggest him to study the name of each position and its short form as well as the name and icon of each playstyle so these kind of confusions decrease over time
