Αν ψάχνετε ακόμα τί είναι αυτό που θα μαγειρέψετε την Καθαρά Δευτέρα να η ευκαιρία... Σπιτική λαγάνα με ντοματίνια και δεντρολίβανο, πράσινη ταραμοσαλάτα, σιγοψημένο χταποδάκι με Μαυροδάφνη , φάβα με καραμελωμένα κοκάρια και για το τέλος ένα γλυκό ρολό με σοκολάτα, χαλβά και μανταρίνι. Γρήγορα στην κουζίνα...
So to those non- Greek viewers I have to explain the meaning of Kathara Deutera ( Ash Monday, Clean Monday) . Ash Monday is the first Monday ( the first day actually) of the fasting period before Easter for Greek Orthodox. That means we eat a lot(like all the other days) but this time we are excluding meat and dairy from the menu.In case you want to expand your knowledge in the Greek language lagana is the traditional bread for the day, taramosalata is a fish-roe salad and halva is a traditional dessert made of sesame seed paste!
P.S.: the menu is also vegeterian!
