I love the message here. Regardless of circumstance and resources, Tony Stark will always be a hero, because of who he is at his core. Whereas Doom (at least in this version) will always make the same mistakes that result in him being a public enemy.

It's not the name "Von Doom" that condemns Victor to villainy, it's his ego and lack of empathy.

I think the point here is. the swap did nothing except rob tony of his money. he still had his mind, he still had a functioning body.

if he had the brain to make an arc reactor he could corner the world energy market. Wealth is not really an obstacle for him. You don't change anything, except his origin story.

Keep in mind that the Tony Stark that's in Dr Doom's body in this universe is the only Doctor Doom that's actually earned his doctorate this storyline is not Superior Iron Man it's Superior Doom

The most jarring thing about this is that it's a comic book story with a fictional company called "Doom Industries" and it's not some evil corporation for the good guys to fight.

Asside from doom not really using his magic This one's kinda cool because it shows the trajectory of their lives were a result of the choises they made rather than who they were born as, also I think it's kinda cool how college tony before the mind switch, is using his old Pre MCU/ Howard Hughes character model, and present Tony/Doom is using the modern look,
