Were there dinosaurs in Antarctica? Yes! We've found six of them, as far as I can tell after a little research.

Edit: Antarctopelta is a Parankylosaur, not a Nodosaur.

If anyone's wondering how these dinosaurs survived in a place that is now one of the coldest lands on Earth, Antarctica was much further north during the Cretaceous than it is now due to plate tectonics. The global temperature during the Cretaceous was also much warmer than it is today.

If you're wondering how these animals survived in a place like this, a simple answer. During the Jurassic, Antarctica was connected to Gondwana and was much more warmer than today

Antarctica was warmer back then and had vegetation, but in the future, past one would return

Cryo and Dilo arent that closely related. From what I'm reading, as of 2020 cyro is more derived and Dilo is more basal as it evolves into ceratosaurs and abelisaurs
