New lights at Millersville University's Cooper Park energize baseball program

After more than a decade-long process, the Millersville University baseball program will finally be able to play under the lights at their home field, Cooper Park.

"I used to close my eyes and imagine what would it be like to play a night game out here," said Jon Shehan, the head coach of the Millersville University baseball program. "It's a pretty surreal feeling to know that that's going to happen."

After 15 years of pushing for the addition of lights to his baseball diamond along with ample community support, Shehan finally had his wish granted.
