Does it not support a USB connection to the head unit I already have a large screen on my dash there is no room for another I almost tried to jailbreak my iPad just to use this I would’ve been upset I would much rather just use the Maps normal if I already have my iPad mounted to the dashboard everything is much easier to use without CarPlay I wish I could mirror the iPad screen to the CarPlay monitor

Not really CarPlay... it only emulates part f it, since it is not connected via usb or wirelessly to an iPhone, ence the no phone app and no sync to what goes on with the phone that is not related to iCloud services, so there is no making or taking calls while driving
