This rings true when I put it in context to how I use my phone and whatever apps I got on it

I was just typing a message about that experiment with the rats on given heroin on another video, which I then deleted before publishing... But I guess youtube is watching... It was about the two groups of rats given heroin, one miserable, deprived, and the other in a theme park for rats. Can you guess which one developed an addiction?

Really interesting framing. I agree, the alcohol effect is a narrowing of character. It makes maintaining decision sets that were previously easy, difficult. For some reason, when people see how expansive they are & how many mind games they play they cower, even in front of the mirror! This makes the flower with the beauty of the meadow susceptible to waning, in its desire to know the simplicity of its sister flowers. It may change it's color to that of a rose, however the fullness of the red in a rose does not change the colour red itself. The surface area possession of red is not important, what is important is that there is red in some increment, with a likely floor value. So the most diverse flower whose surface area meets all the minimum depth requirements for the spectrum of floral colours is the definition of the valley. It compresses the worth of the hillside into its component meaning. Love is the absence of over attachment. Which means love is also shredding someone with no compressable beauty.

What if you dont know how to love? He did a really far conceptual leap there at the end. Who is supposed to love, the addicted person or the people around the addicted person? Are you asking an addicted person to pull themselves up by the bootstraps by just starting to love themselves out of a dire situation? Seeing that Vervaeke has this line that he refers to as the ground principle for love where he says that you should learn how to love wisely, this type of reply is full blown mysticism -- it does not say anything in my estimation.
