I see you're also having the issue on the '23 z71 where the plastic fender piece by the fog lights (adjacent to the wheel) is popping off. My driver side piece continuously comes out of the clips in the inner fender.

Like you I don't have the fender flares yet, but the amount of poke would look great with them.
