I was never sold on the new color scheme for Takanuva. It made sense in regards to the story because there was a point where he went through alternate universes and was attacked by Shadow Leeches, but he is eventually cured of their attacks and he does regain his Gold color in the comics shortly before all of Karda Nui was about to be destroyed. There should have been a Gold variant of the set like there was a Yellow Edition of the Jetrax.

I made a small adjustment of my own to this Takanuva by giving him hands similar to the Titan Toa Mata Nui set with claw pieces and swapping the gun metal shoulders for the black and soft gun metal head from Mantax to make the shoulders just a bit more dynamic!

I once used the Aero Saber pieces for a lower leg design in combination with the Hordika Neck pieces, which made my MOC look like it was wearing spiked boots

Takua is so important to the backstory its insane, I mean the toas didnt even come to mata nui till he SUMMONED them

I liked the more nuva biomechanical mask in this set, feel like it fit the nuva style better
