These motors run a flat torque curve, which means max torque comes in at Idle to cutout. They are known as rear end and transmission destroyers because you can lugg them, and because of the high torque. Have one in a superliner

Had repeated issue in this engine which is valve collet slipped out and for three times.
It's really saddened me that I couldn't find the root cause only assumptions.
Our application (starting gas turbine MS5001 frame 5. )
It's only start the gas turbine.
Torque converter and ratcheting system and gear box in between the gas turbine and the Kt19

Any faced the same issue pls help.

Atta Boy.... just shut her down right after getting on the throttle... and the turbo is still spooled up and no oil pressure. All "Reputable" (re: factory authorized) shops utilize a dynamometer room to properly run the engine up for break-in while Under Load and record the output numbers, exhaust temps, boost pressures, water temp, oil pressure & temps, etc. throughout the entire rpm range to ensure overall engine "health" as well as to verify the engine output (hp & torque) is within the correct range for its design and power specifications.

it's not misfiring it's the STC that makes it run rough at idle

We called them K line engines because they looked like a big K from the front, and it needs a true tune- up
