She can do grouping? Damn that'll the a game changer for Geo, which can't react with Anemo. With this, the efficiency of Noelle's sweeping time will go through the roof top.

I think this is an unlikely direction for her kit, despite how awesome it sounds. Gorou is technically the Geo Faruzan and I know that’s frustrating considering one of his major buffs is specifically for defense scaling geo characters. Geo’s damage output isn’t the big issue with the element though, so giving geo big damage bonus most likely won’t be the case considering they can already synergize with Furina. I do think Geo res shred is needed though and that is hopefully going to be part of Chiori’s kit. What Geo actually needs is a character that can tie Geo DPS characters with existing PECH(pyro, electro, cryo, hydro) teams. I think I think if Chiori does end up being a support, it will tie into crystallize similarly to Navia and the Archiac Petra set. Considering it’s the only reaction geo can utilize outside of shatter.

I've been thinking about this too and come to similar conclusions. Just make her give a Geo damage boost and Geo Res shred, that would help a lot. Maybe also give her a DEF shred and crit damage bonus too for a more complete package. Extra energy would be nice too and off field damage too but it feels secondary to her buffing need. Grouping would be nice as well but Geo alrady have big range. Another thing that would really help Geo a lot is some way to deal with elemental shields because crystalize has a party wide ICD and makes breaking shields very slow so any chamber with shields counters Geo hard. So a 5 Geo Faruzan would be great and if she could break shields she'd be perfect. Another bonus could be using crystalize in some way like a stronger AP type effect to buff non Geo party members, this would give her flexibility, buffing Geo damage in parties but also the damage of the non Geo team members to some extent so they are not left behind. It would combine really well with Navia and Noelle.

With Chiori added to genshin in several patch to go, now Inazuma has 3 Geo char. tied with The land of Geo it self, Liyue.
Unlikely, any character from any element can give a shield like geo but no other character but anemo can group. Although, they could create geo constructs that pushes the enemy to the user, like geo Traveler's burst but reverse, that could work

I think it would be cool if she healed as well, a little bit strange how we still don't have a traditional geo healer, only Noelle and C4 (?) Gorou and C6 Zhongli!? So I think she should resistence shed, heal, generate energy and be an off-field damage dealer if possible. Thoguh it's doesn'T have to be her, I would be happy a 4* as well, but I think a Geo Shenhe would be pretty good + healing.
