My goal with this video is to show any beginner on how to catch clean and cook a mutton snapper. These fish spawn off Florida's coast every year around the full moons in April-July. They gather in huge numbers along the edges of reefs, wrecks and other structures providing for some of the best snapper fishing all year. I show you everything you need to know how to catch these tricky fish, from the bait, to the rig, hooks and conditions to look for.

I wish I could be there to buy your snapper, head, and bones to make fish soup. Snappers make the best soup bar none than any saltwater fish. Take it from a Pacific Islander who used to fish and cook delicious seafood, fresh from the ocean.

Vic when using the anchor ball if you let your anchor line come along side the boat then clip the ball on it is easier. That way you don’t have to do it hanging over the bow and risk losing your ring. We also leave on eye of the ring on the carabiner that way it is always attached to the ball. Also if you don’t have a ball and forget it you can let the line come along side and it will raise off the bottom, then the boat drive turn and drive straight at it will pull in the line that way you not having to pull all that weight vertical.
